What is MONK?
MONK is a natural energy tea. Every carton is brewed from green tea and yerba mate, with 100 mg of pure, plant-derived L-theanine, multivitamins and electrolytes, and it has no added sugar. It's sweetened only with monk fruit. The lineup comes in six flavors, each in a 500 mL carton.
How much caffeine is in a carton?
110 mg per 500 mL carton: 35 mg from green tea and 75 mg from yerba mate. Both are natural sources of caffeine. Yerba mate also naturally contains theobromine.
What is L-theanine?
L-theanine is an amino acid found naturally in tea leaves. Every carton of MONK has 100 mg of pure, plant-derived L-theanine alongside its natural caffeine.
Which vitamins and electrolytes are in MONK?

What is MONK sweetened with?
Monk fruit, and only monk fruit. It's a promise that goes beyond this lineup: every beverage MONK ever makes will be sweetened with monk fruit.
Why a carton?
MONK comes in a 500 mL (16.9 fl oz) Tetra Pak carton with a twist-off cap, so you can close it back up when you're not finished. It's light, easy to carry and easy to spot on a shelf.
Is MONK carbonated?
No. All six flavors in this energy tea lineup are non-carbonated, so it's easy to sip at any pace.
Does MONK use artificial or "natural flavors"?
No. MONK has no artificial flavors and no "natural flavors," because we don't think "natural flavors" are truly natural. The drink is natural, with a short label we're happy to put our name on.
Does MONK contain theobromine?
Yes. Theobromine is a compound that yerba mate naturally contains, so MONK naturally contains theobromine from the yerba mate.
Will MONK give me a crash?
MONK is made to give you a smooth energy boost with no crash. The lift comes from two teas, green tea and yerba mate, paired with L-theanine.
Does MONK have sugar?
MONK has no added sugar. Its sweetness comes from monk fruit. The only sugar in a carton is a small amount of natural fruit sugar from the real fruits we put in our beverages.
Is MONK organic?
No. MONK is a natural energy tea, but it isn't organic.
When will MONK ship?

MONK contains 110 mg of caffeine per carton. It isn't recommended for children, people who are pregnant or nursing, or anyone sensitive to caffeine. If you have a medical condition, check with your doctor first.
